Scale AI's Applied AI group is hiring a senior engineer to build and deploy production AI agents for enterprise customers. The work spans agent architectures, retrieval and memory systems, tool use, and multi-agent coordination, plus the evaluation side: offline benchmarks, A/B tests, golden datasets and human review. Applicants should have five or more years in software engineering, machine learning or applied AI, strong Python, and hands-on experience putting LLM systems into production. The role is distinctive for covering many industries and problems rather than one model or product.
