DeepL's Voice for Meetings team builds real-time transcription, translation and voice intelligence for the meeting platforms people already use. The Senior Engineering Manager leads a small senior engineering team, owns hiring and career development, and drives delivery of real-time voice features from architecture through to production, staying close to the code. The role works day to day beside a Principal Product Manager and a senior technical lead, and asks for a pragmatic understanding of how ML systems behave in production — inference, preprocessing, data drift — plus experience leading teams on real-time or distributed systems.
