Celonis seeks a senior design engineer for its design operations team, the group that owns the company's design system and design workflows. The role is hands-on: building internal tools and automations with TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, and Figma's plugin/REST APIs; maintaining MCP servers and context pipelines that connect the design system to AI coding agents; and creating CI checks and policy automation. Applicants should have roughly 5–8 years in design engineering, front-end, design-systems tooling, or platform engineering, plus UX judgment, Figma knowledge, and experience governing AI tools.
