Wolt, part of DoorDash, is hiring an applied scientist for its recommendation systems. The work is designing and improving recommendation, ranking and retrieval models that surface restaurants, dishes and items, owning applied ML problems end to end — data analysis, modelling, offline evaluation, experiments and production monitoring. The posting asks for hands-on experience taking models into production, a background in ranking, retrieval or personalisation, Python, modern ML frameworks, large-scale data processing and rigorous evaluation.
