Waymo's legal and risk group is hiring a senior actuary to own end-to-end analyses of insurance risk: collecting and cleaning data, then building and maintaining commercial auto pricing and reserving models. The work includes quantifying risks specific to autonomous driving and automating actuarial workflows with AI-assisted coding and programmatic pipelines. Candidates should be experienced casualty actuaries fluent in R or Python and SQL; FCAS is preferred, ACAS considered. Based in San Francisco or Mountain View on a hybrid schedule; pay is $196,000–$242,000.
