Physical Intelligence builds foundation models and learning algorithms for robots. Its robotics technicians keep the fleet of robotic platforms running for that AI research. The job is hands-on maintenance: repairing wiring, circuits, power supplies, sensors, actuators, motors, gearboxes and bearings; testing with multimeters, oscilloscopes and PLCs; reading schematics; recording repairs in Linear and Notion; and feeding hardware problems back to engineering. It asks for an associate degree or equivalent experience and two or more years in electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally in robotics or automation.
