RIVR, an Amazon robotics team founded in 2024 as an ETH Zurich spin-off, is hiring a Robotics Field Engineer in Zurich to link its wheeled-legged delivery robots with real-world deployments. The job is Tier 2 escalation for last-mile teams: root-cause analysis on field failures, hardware and software debugging, quick fixes at roughly one engineer per five robots, QA test-case input, and troubleshooting documentation. The posting asks for ROS2 experience, hands-on electromechanical troubleshooting, C++ or Python, an engineering or computer science degree, English fluency, and 50% travel.
