Snorkel AI is hiring a Research Scientist to lead design of benchmarks and datasets for frontier model evaluation. The person will define quality criteria for hard tasks, drawing on customer and academic conversations, build benchmarks and training data, work with data operations, product, engineering and strategy, and represent the work through publications, talks and customer engagements. The posting seeks a strong AI/ML evaluation or NLP research background with rigorous experimental design and communication skills; a PhD is preferred. It is hybrid in New York or San Francisco, or US remote.
