Research internship on Together AI's Model Shaping team, which tailors open foundation models to downstream tasks. Interns work in three areas: post-training methods such as preference optimization and reinforcement learning; efficient training of neural networks; and robust evaluation of foundation model capabilities. The role covers implementing techniques, running experiments, publishing findings, and integrating research into products. Applicants must be pursuing a CS or EE degree with deep learning fundamentals and PyTorch or JAX experience. A 12-to-14-week cohort runs January 4 to April 9 in San Francisco or Amsterdam.
