The work is applied research plus production code: building safeguards and red-teaming them, running CBRN and agentic risk evaluations on frontier models, turning expert judgment into datasets and automated graders under strict data controls, and carrying incident response and on-call. Applicants need five years writing shared, version-controlled code and three years training or evaluating ML models; a science PhD is preferred. Publishing is not the focus.
