OpenAI is hiring a full-stack product engineer in San Francisco, hybrid, to work on persistent AI coworkers. The person builds frontend surfaces where people direct and review agents and collaborate on their work, plus backend APIs, services and data models for agent state, asynchronous execution, orchestration and progress reporting. The posting asks for 7+ years of full-stack or product engineering experience, strong TypeScript and React skills, backend work in Python, Go, Rust or TypeScript, and product judgment on ambiguous customer problems.
