OpenAI's Codex team is hiring a product designer to work on coding agents — tools developers can pair with, delegate to, or hand future tasks. The designer will shape product direction, take features from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and visuals, work with engineers, product managers, researchers and design peers, run user research with software developers, and contribute to the design system. The posting asks for a portfolio showing UX, UI and interaction design, a technical background with recently shipped production code, and comfort with 0-to-1 ambiguity. San Francisco, three days a week in office.
