Baseten's Post-Training team builds the in-house tooling behind its customers' custom models, which account for most of the company's inference traffic. The research engineer works across the stack: training many model architectures efficiently with reinforcement learning, supervised finetuning and other techniques, plus systems work in Kubernetes, storage and networking, PyTorch distributed tensor computation and GPU kernels.
