OpenAI's Forward Deployed Engineering team is hiring a physical design engineer to work with semiconductor customers. The role starts as the team's physical design subject-matter expert, advising on backend implementation flows, EDA tooling and signoff, and testing AI-assisted ideas for floorplanning, place and route, clocking and timing closure.
