NVIDIA's Autonomous Systems and Physical AI Research group in Zurich hires PhD interns for full-time, on-site work on autonomous vehicles, robotics and physical AI. Interns design techniques for closed-loop policy training, safety assurance, navigation across environments, and reasoning under uncertainty, and are encouraged to publish and open-source results. The posting asks for a current PhD in robotics or a related field, research experience in autonomy or embodied AI, a publication record at venues such as RSS, ICRA, CoRL or NeurIPS, strong Python and PyTorch; C++ and CUDA are a plus.
