OpenAI's Industrial Security team is hiring a Personnel Security Specialist to run the day-to-day personnel security work behind classified government programs. The job covers clearance verification, access nominations, visit requests, briefings, onboarding and offboarding, audit-ready records in DISS, NBIS/eApp and NISS, and improving checklists, SOPs and metrics, including through approved AI tools and automations. Candidates need hands-on personnel security experience with a cleared contractor, intelligence or federal customer, NISPOM knowledge, and active Top Secret eligibility with current SCI access. Hybrid, three days a week, in San Francisco or Washington, DC.
