OpenAI's Robotics team is hiring a PCB layout engineer in San Francisco, hybrid with four days a week in person. The role covers layout ownership from floor planning to fabrication release for dense robotic electronics: placement, routing, stack-ups, documentation, and DFM/DFA/DFT reviews with fabricators and assembly partners. The posting asks for 6+ years on complex multilayer boards and fluency in Cadence Allegro and Constraint Manager, plus HDI expertise with fine-pitch BGAs, microvias and sequential lamination.
