Waymo's Hardware Engineering group seeks an engineer to lead troubleshooting of software and electrical integration issues between Waymo and its automotive OEM partners. The work covers scoping integration derisking, coordinating change deployment with system owners, shaping platform integration processes and tools, and providing hands-on support at manufacturing, field service and test facilities. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's in EE, ME, CE or CSE and 5+ years with prototype software and electrical automotive systems; Python and series-production launch experience are preferred. Compensation is $158,000–$200,000.
