Fireworks AI is hiring 2026 PhD graduates as Members of Technical Staff on its Systems Infrastructure team. The work covers the substrate beneath the company's training and inference platform: GPU schedulers, distributed storage and caching, and datacenter networking. Candidates pick one of those three areas to go deep in. Requirements include a PhD in computer science, computer engineering or a similar field, systems programming in C/C++ or Rust, Python, and experience building and measuring real systems. New hires get a senior mentor and a problem from day one.
