Perplexity's Connector Platform team builds the data layer that lets its agents call outside software, turning hundreds of native, MCP, CLI and third-party integrations into one typed surface. The engineer owns the connector runtime, tool and entity schemas, tool discovery and selection, and reliability work such as retries, idempotency, rate limits and observability.
