Perplexity is hiring an analyst to work on its core search and answer systems, hybrid across Belgrade, London or Berlin. The job mixes data analysis with engineering: diagnosing quality problems in the search pipeline, designing metrics from scratch, building training datasets and LLM-as-a-judge labeling pipelines, improving snippet quality and page selection for indexing, and running A/B experiments. Candidates need four or more years in data analysis, production-grade coding at mid-level backend standard, SQL and Python, plus hands-on experience with metric design, labeling pipelines, shipped ML models or eval design.
