Cohere is hiring a Member of Technical Staff to build reinforcement learning environments for enterprise AI agents. The work covers constructing environments with tasks, input data, tool implementations and verifiers; training and evaluating agents inside them; diagnosing failures from trajectories; and managing external vendors who build environments. The posting asks for experience engineering agents for industry use cases, reviewing agent trajectories, tuning reward designs, running annotation workflows and building synthetic data pipelines. RL training experience is a plus. The role is based in London or remote.
