Fireworks AI is hiring a backend engineer for its cloud infrastructure team in Singapore, on-site and full-time. The person will design and build core backend components for the company's generative AI platform, run design and code reviews, and optimize compute, storage and networking efficiency for AI workloads. The posting asks for a computer science or engineering degree, at least three years in ML infrastructure such as PyTorch, Vertex AI or SageMaker, and experience scaling enterprise machine learning systems. A master's or PhD and large-scale AI infrastructure work are preferred.
