Perplexity is hiring a backend engineer for its Crawler team. The person will design and run large-scale web crawlers, ingestion pipelines, and data processing systems, and will work on backend and frontend parts of crawler services, including storage, retrieval, and dashboards. The posting asks for at least five years of software development, strong data structures and algorithms, and experience in Python, C++, Rust, or Go, plus Kubernetes and AWS.
