Perplexity's Agents team is hiring senior, full-time engineers in San Francisco, on-site, to build the harnesses and AI systems behind its agentic products, including Perplexity Computer, the Comet ecosystem, and an Agent API. Work spans applied research and engineering: designing agents that act in digital environments, training action and decision models over multimodal states, permission architectures and payload classifiers, and cross-environment abstractions.
