Datadog is hiring an engineering manager for the Training & Serving team in its AI Platform group, which supports products such as Bits AI and LLMObs. The manager will lead more than ten engineers, set the technical roadmap, work with platform teams on storage and data pipelines, and stay hands-on in code and design reviews. Distributed training of foundation models and serving at scale are the main challenges. It asks for a year or more leading engineers, a backend, data and infrastructure background, and use of AI coding tools.
