Wayve's Application Engineering team is hiring an ML engineer to develop end-to-end driving models and lead work on personalised and collaborative driving, including behaviour conditioning, comfort tuning and user alignment. The role covers model architecture, data curation, evaluation pipelines for closed- and open-loop driving, and production deployment, with cross-team collaboration and mentoring of senior engineers. Deep learning shipping experience, sequential models, control, planning or perception, Python with C++/CUDA and PyTorch, and real-time or robotics work are required. It is based in Sunnyvale or Detroit, hybrid.
