Waymo is hiring a lead technical program manager for its Simulation and Evaluation domain, reporting to a TPM director. The role sets long-term strategy for Waymo's simulation and ML evaluation platforms, integrates simulation into the model training and offline evaluation loop, scales evaluation infrastructure, plans compute capacity and budgets, and manages a team of TPMs. Waymo asks for a bachelor's degree, 3+ years managing TPMs or software engineers, 10+ years as a TPM, and experience with ML platforms such as data pipelines, training and evaluation frameworks. Preferred experience includes LLM/VLM evaluation, TPUs/GPUs, and ML-based scene generation.
