Monzo's Machine Learning Search team is hiring a lead machine learning scientist to build and ship models behind search and discovery in its banking app, part of work on a financial co-pilot. The role covers embeddings, contextual bandits and personalised ranking, on a cloud data platform holding billions of rows. It is a technical leadership and individual contributor post. The posting wants a multi-year record of shipping ML to production, fluent Python with scikit-learn, and SQL; Go is a plus, as is ranking and recommendation experience.
