Anthropic is hiring an Infrastructure Capacity Planner on the Demand Planning team within Capacity Engineering. The job owns the medium-range demand forecast for accelerators by chip and interconnect class, CPU, storage, network and managed services, sized against model roadmap, reinforcement-learning and inference growth and evaluation volume. Work includes weekly plan-versus-reality variance reviews, qualifying incoming capacity tranches, and partnering with Finance on cost drivers. The posting asks for hands-on SQL and Python or a forecasting/optimization stack, plus prior capacity, demand or supply planning for cloud, HPC or hyperscale infrastructure. Forecasts are to be driven by roadmaps rather than trend lines. Salary listed at $320,000–$405,000.
