OpenAI's security team is hiring an incident commander for detection and response across Asia-Pacific time zones. The person runs security incidents end to end: setting severity and scope, assigning work streams, deciding on containment and recovery within agreed authority, keeping a decision log, and briefing technical and non-technical stakeholders. The posting wants a track record leading complex incidents, sound judgement on incomplete evidence, and enough detection engineering knowledge to read telemetry and spot visibility gaps. The role can be remote or based in several APAC cities.
