Figure, a humanoid robotics company, is hiring an AI Training Performance Engineer for its Helix team, on-site in San Jose. The role targets 100B+ parameter models across 100k+ GPUs: custom Triton and CUDA kernels, parallelism strategies, data loading, checkpointing and fault tolerance, plus agentic systems that generate and benchmark kernels and evaluation of AMD, TPU and SRAM-based accelerators. Applicants need a bachelor's or master's in CS or a related field, 3+ years in AI performance engineering, Python and CUDA/C++, profiling tools, and NCCL/networking knowledge. Base salary is $200,000–$400,000.
