Figure, a San Jose humanoid robotics company, is hiring a Perception Engineer for its Helix team to build perception systems for its Figure 03 robot: onboard computer vision, localization, visuomotor policies and offline data annotation. The role covers the full product cycle from ideation to deployment, with cross-functional work on the autonomy stack. The posting wants production-level software and ML engineering experience, strong probability, optimization and linear algebra, plus depth in one of 3D vision, VIO/SLAM, VLMs or diffusion models. CUDA, Spark/Ray and publications are bonuses. Five days a week in office.
