Anthropic is hiring a Head of Business Controls for its Internal Audit team in San Francisco, on-site. The role owns the financial audit and SOX 404 compliance program ahead of a possible IPO: audit planning, scoping, testing, remediation and reporting; controls design across revenue recognition, financial close, payables, receivables and treasury; documentation; and coordination with external auditors, the CFO, Controller and Audit Committee. It asks for 10+ years of financial audit and SOX experience, ideally Big 4 plus in-house, and interest in applying AI to audit work.
