Anthropic's Hardware Systems team is hiring senior architects and technical leads to own system-level architecture for the accelerator fleets that train and serve its models — boards, racks, interconnect, power, cooling, and the datacenter interface. Duties include writing specs, reviewing vendor designs, build/buy/co-design decisions, performance modelling, and validation and bring-up plans, working with ML performance, infrastructure software, supply chain, and datacenter teams. The posting wants deep expertise in one hardware domain with judgement across adjacent ones; eight-plus years is preferred. Distinctive: an explicit expectation to push AI-assisted hardware design and review.
