OpenAI's Consumer Products team is hiring a hardware engineer in Singapore, hybrid with four days a week in the office and relocation support. The role covers designing, prototyping and validating mechanical and electrical subsystems for new AI-driven consumer devices, plus DFM/DFA reviews, system-level debugging and supplier work from prototype builds to mass production. Occasional travel to manufacturing partners is expected.
