Physical Intelligence builds foundation models for robots, and this role leads Research Operations — the people who collect and evaluate the data those models need. The general manager runs a large operations team and its managers, owning staffing, performance, retention, day-to-day operations and training programs, and using data to improve quality and productivity. The posting wants seven or more years leading large operations teams and experience developing managers; robotics, hardware, manufacturing, logistics, data collection or evaluation operations are listed as pluses. Based in San Francisco, on-site, full-time.
