PhysicsX, a physics-AI company for industrial engineering, is hiring a forward deployed software engineer in New York. The delivery team builds and ships applications on top of the company's physics AI models, working directly with customers, data scientists and machine learning engineers: Python microservices and FastAPI REST APIs, deployed with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform and AWS or Azure. Expect customer-site travel of three to four weeks per quarter. The posting wants solid software engineering, API design and production deployment experience; a mechanical engineering background is a plus, and export-control authorization may be required.
