Modal, which sells GPU infrastructure for AI workloads, is hiring a Forward Deployed ML Engineer for its Stockholm office. The person works directly with customer AI companies and foundation labs on production workloads: LLM serving, training (SFT, RLHF), audio pipelines, scientific computing. Duties include optimization work, open-source contributions such as SGLang, demos and proofs-of-concept, and relationships with customer technical leads. Requirements: two or more years of ML engineering, depth in serving or training toolchains, strong communication, and willingness to work in person in Stockholm.
