Figure, a humanoid robotics company in San Jose, is hiring a firmware engineering intern for Winter 2027. The intern writes C and C++ firmware for motor controllers, battery management and sensing hardware, builds Python tools for test automation and calibration, helps maintain CI/CD, and supports hardware/software integration in the lab. Applicants should be computer engineering or computer science seniors or recent graduates, fluent in C, C++ and Python, with bare-metal and RTOS experience and familiarity with buses such as CAN, EtherCAT and USB. Pay is $40–$45/hr.
