Cursor is hiring Field Engineers to work with federal civilian and defense agencies adopting its agentic coding tool. The role pairs with account executives on technical discovery, demos, proofs of concept and validation, and with Product and Engineering as the customer's internal advocate. It also covers handoffs to post-sales onboarding. The posting asks for strong communication, understanding of the software development lifecycle, hands-on technical fluency, and pre-sales, solutions architecture or consulting experience, ideally in federal or regulated settings.
