Wayve is breaking out a Runtime Platform team and hiring an engineering manager to lead it from the London office, under a hybrid working policy. The team owns the application frameworks, middleware/IPC, performance and observability layers the on-vehicle AI Driver runs on. The job is people-first — hiring, coaching, feedback and delivery accountability — alongside technical direction on latency, profiling, real-time scheduling and middleware. The posting asks for engineering management experience plus hands-on C++ embedded depth, ideally in automotive or robotics, with QNX and NVIDIA compute platforms a plus.
