Scale AI is hiring an engineering manager to lead the Agent Oversight team inside its Applied Intelligence Systems group. The team builds a platform for deploying, monitoring, evaluating and improving agentic applications for enterprise and government customers. The manager owns the roadmap, manages software and ML engineers, and works with customers and forward-deployed teams. The posting asks for 7+ years of engineering experience, at least 2 managing engineers responsible for a production ML or LLM system, plus familiarity with agent architectures such as tool use and multi-agent orchestration.
