Anthropic is hiring a lead to own front-of-meter power supply for its non-cloud data centers, including PPAs and wholesale contracts. The person sets supply plans by market, negotiates long-term agreements from term sheet to signature, coordinates with finance, legal, policy and scheduling, and tracks new-build projects. The posting asks for 10+ years in power origination or procurement, knowledge of at least two US ISO/RTO markets, and ability to value and mark up PPAs. It is the function’s first dedicated owner, with ratepayer protection part of deal selection.
