Wayve builds embodied AI for automated driving, and this role validates the onboard software its vehicles run before full-vehicle testing. The engineer writes automated tests for subsystems such as operating systems, middleware, sensors and integration points, runs them on embedded compute platforms in hardware-in-the-loop setups, debugs issues across hardware and software boundaries, and shifts validation earlier by adding tests to CI pipelines. Wayve wants embedded testing experience, Python or C++ automation skills, and debugging depth. Sunnyvale hybrid role, $209,700 to $266,800 plus equity.
