Anthropic seeks a data scientist to work with Developer Productivity engineering leaders on measuring and improving developer productivity in an AI-augmented environment. The work includes investigations into whether Claude speeds up engineers, setting measurement frameworks, designing experiments on internal tools and workflows, and building causal evidence. The role also involves pipelines, dashboards, and models, and influencing engineering, infrastructure, and product leaders. Candidates need production SQL and Python, independent analytics building, and experience as the primary data voice in ambiguous domains. Preferred: eight-plus years, developer productivity or internal tooling, causal inference.
