OpenAI's Agentic Data Science team is hiring a senior data scientist to define how cybersecurity is measured for AI agents. The role sets metrics and evaluation frameworks for security-control coverage, agent behavior, detection quality and sensitive actions, studies how safeguards affect friction, builds trusted datasets with engineering, and assesses AI-powered security products. It asks for 5+ years in data science or applied research, SQL and Python, and experience in adversarial or hard-to-measure domains. The data scientist reports into Data Science and partners with Security, Cyber Product, Engineering and Research, with room to build a new discipline.
