Monzo is hiring a Data Science Manager to lead a financial crime product area. The role oversees data scientists and analysts, working with product, engineering and risk colleagues on detection, prevention and mitigation, hiring and developing the team, and shaping data strategy. Monzo asks for at least four years as a data science manager, two of them managing a team of more than four, plus executive stakeholder experience and familiarity with Python, SQL, machine learning, experimentation and causal inference. Financial crime or fraud experience is a plus.
