Monzo is hiring a Data Science Manager to lead a team of data scientists and other data professionals embedded in one of its product or business areas. The role combines people leadership with setting analytical direction: hiring and coaching, partnering with product, engineering and executives, and choosing between experimentation, causal inference, statistical modelling and machine learning. Monzo asks for significant experience managing data scientists, strong stakeholder influence, and Python and SQL. Salary is £100,000–£130,000 plus incentive awards, with visa sponsorship and relocation to the UK offered.
