Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a senior software development engineer in test for machine-learning products in Waterloo, Ontario, on-site. The role leads quality work across teams: building automated test frameworks for ML inference services, creating representative datasets, checking score distributions and ranking behavior, and running functional, integration, API, performance and load tests. It asks for a bachelor’s degree, five or more years as an SDET, Python/Java/Scala/Go, API and CI/CD tooling, cloud/container experience, and observability tools. Distinctive focus: statistical validation of probabilistic systems, not deterministic pass/fail checks.
